Description
A guide to creating the perfect 14-inch pizza that is big enough to share but small enough to handle easily.
Ingredients
- Pizza dough: 12-14 oz (340-400g)
- Tomato sauce: ½ cup (120ml)
- Mozzarella cheese: 1 ½ cups (150g)
- Toppings (your choice): As desired
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 500°F (260°C) and preheat a pizza stone or steel if you have one.
- Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 14-inch circle.
- Add sauce: Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
- Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle mozzarella evenly and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake: Slide the pizza onto the stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Slice and serve: Let it rest for a minute, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing to prevent toppings from sliding off.
