Scale
- 4 medium flour tortillas (6–8 inch), room temperature
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1–2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (or 1/2 tsp dried)
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Olive oil spray or 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes.
- Mix the garlic butter: stir softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of garlic butter over one side of each tortilla.
- Sprinkle about 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella and a little cheddar over half of each tortilla.
- Fold the tortilla in half over the cheese to make a half-moon.
- Lightly brush or spray the tops with olive oil and a tiny extra smear of garlic butter.
- Place the folded tortillas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 370°F for 4–6 minutes, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Remove carefully and let rest for 1 minute.
- Sprinkle with extra parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
Use unsalted butter for better control on salt. Shred cheese from a block for best melt and texture. Serve hot with marinara or ranch for dipping.
