Description

A warm, cheesy, and quick recipe for garlic bread made in the air fryer, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium flour tortillas (68 inch), room temperature
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 12 garlic cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (or 1/2 tsp dried)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Olive oil spray or 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes.
  2. Mix the garlic butter: stir softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread a thin layer of garlic butter over one side of each tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella and a little cheddar over half of each tortilla.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half over the cheese to make a half-moon.
  6. Lightly brush or spray the tops with olive oil and a tiny extra smear of garlic butter.
  7. Place the folded tortillas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry at 370°F for 4–6 minutes, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
  9. Remove carefully and let rest for 1 minute.
  10. Sprinkle with extra parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Use unsalted butter for better control on salt. Shred cheese from a block for best melt and texture. Serve hot with marinara or ranch for dipping.
