Description

A delicious and gooey cheesy garlic bread that is quick and easy to make, perfect for any meal or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Roasted garlic from above
  • ½ cup butter, melted (113g)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk (60g)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sheet Rolls (or replace with a French baguette)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley and chili flakes for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the tops off garlic bulbs, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  3. Wrap the bulbs in foil and roast them for about 30-40 minutes until soft. Let cool and squeeze out the roasted garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix melted butter, roasted garlic, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and parsley until well combined.
  5. Take the sheet of King’s Hawaiian rolls and keep it whole.
  6. Pour the garlic butter custard evenly over the rolls.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve warm, topped with chopped parsley and chili flakes. Pairs well with pasta or salads.
