- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 cup milk (dairy or any plant milk)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- Sprinkles for garnish
- Fresh fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Stir well until combined.
- Divide the mixture into jars or containers with lids.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, stir the oats, add a splash of milk if desired for creaminess, and top with sprinkles and fresh fruit. Enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant milk and maple syrup. You can also add mix-ins like nuts or seeds for additional crunch.
