- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in 1/4 cup flour and vanilla extract until just combined. Gently fold in fresh blueberries.
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and 1 cup flour; stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese and blueberry mixture evenly over the oat crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is set.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
These bars are best served chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days or freeze them for up to three months.
