Description

A warming and filling breakfast casserole made with sausage, eggs, and cheese wrapped in crescent rolls, perfect for busy mornings or gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 1 pound of mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked and drain excess grease.
  3. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Roll out the crescent rolls and spread evenly in the bottom of the baking dish, sealing any gaps.
  5. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the crescent roll base.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs over the sausage layer.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the eggs.
  8. Bake for around 30 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and cooked through.

Notes

Make ahead by assembling the night before. Add veggies for extra nutrition. Try different cheeses for variation.
