Description

A gourmet twist on the classic cheeseburger, featuring savory beef, rich cheese, and aromatic herbs, all enveloped in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (buttery and flaky)
  • 1 lb ground beef (grass-fed)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh herbs (chives or parsley), finely chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Season with smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sharp cheddar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in Dijon mustard and mayonnaise.
  4. Fit the pre-made crust into a pie dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, and pour the cheese sauce over it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  6. Let cool briefly, then top with halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle fresh herbs.
