- 1 pre-made pie crust (buttery and flaky)
- 1 lb ground beef (grass-fed)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh herbs (chives or parsley), finely chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Season with smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and stir in Worcestershire sauce.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sharp cheddar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in Dijon mustard and mayonnaise.
- Fit the pre-made crust into a pie dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, and pour the cheese sauce over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool briefly, then top with halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle fresh herbs.
Notes
Serve with a side salad and consider presenting on a rustic wooden board.
