Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream (optional for serving)
  • Ground cinnamon (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust, filling it to the top.
  5. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
  6. Let the pie cool at room temperature for at least an hour before slicing.

Notes
