- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream (optional for serving)
- Ground cinnamon (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust, filling it to the top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
- Let the pie cool at room temperature for at least an hour before slicing.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
