Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cottage cheese (room temperature)
- 3 large eggs (separated)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- A sprinkle of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg yolks, and salt. Stir until smooth.
- Gently fold one-third of the egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture.
- Carefully fold in the remaining egg whites without deflating the mixture.
- Divide the batter into mounds on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Notes
For best texture, use room temperature ingredients. You can enhance flavor with spices or herbs, and for a golden crust, broil for the last minute of baking.
