- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (divided into parts)
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (to mix with sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until blended.
- Gently stir in flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Mix the granulated sugar and remaining cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
