Description

This elegant dish combines creamy goat cheese with sweet-tart cranberries on a rustic sourdough base, making it a perfect centerpiece for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sourdough bread, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • Fresh rosemary, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss cubed sourdough with olive oil and sea salt in a bowl. Spread on a baking sheet and toast for 10-15 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, and balsamic vinegar over medium heat. Stir until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
  3. Spread warm toasted sourdough on a serving platter and crumble goat cheese over the top to melt slightly.
  4. Drizzle the cranberry sauce over the goat cheese and sourdough.
  5. Garnish with chopped rosemary.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Best to keep components separate until serving. Reheat sourdough in a warm oven.
