Description
Indulge in creamy, warm brie topped with sweet-tart cranberries and crunchy pecans for an elegant appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (approximately 8 oz), at room temperature
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, maple syrup, orange juice, and sea salt. Stir gently and cook until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and score the top if desired.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture over the top of the brie, letting some drip down the sides. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cranberries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until soft and gooey.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped rosemary, if using. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with sliced baguette, crackers, or fresh fruit. Best enjoyed warm.
