- 4 pieces Boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- Olive oil spray, as needed
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice chicken breasts into even pieces and tenderize them with a meat mallet.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Set up a coating station with three bowls: flour, egg wash, and the mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, dip in the egg wash, and coat with the bread crumb mixture.
- Press the bread crumbs gently into the chicken to help them stick.
- Place the coated chicken cutlets on the prepared baking sheet and give them a quick spray with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- For extra crispiness, elevate the chicken on a wire rack over the baking sheet if possible.
