Description
A creamy Alfredo sauce infused with bold Cajun spices, perfect for elevating pasta or protein dishes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes thick and creamy.
- Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne (if using), and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or pasta water. If it’s too thin, let it simmer longer to thicken up.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider using milk instead of heavy cream, and olive oil instead of butter.
