- ¾ cup water (room temperature)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley (chopped, optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually pour in the water while mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface for about 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll into thin circles or ovals, about ¼ inch thick.
- Mix the softened butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Place the rolled flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with garlic butter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with parsley if desired and let cool slightly before serving.
