Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze, optional)
- 2 tablespoons milk (or cream for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent rolls into triangles on a clean surface.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt until well blended.
- Brush each triangle with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon filling evenly across the surface.
- Starting from the wide end, gently roll each triangle into a twist, forming a spiral shape.
- Arrange the twists on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- While the twists are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the twists are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
Notes
For additional flavor, consider adding chopped nuts or raisins to the filling. These twists can also be frozen before baking.
