Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (about 450 g) broccolini, trimmed
  • 1½ tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (or 1½ teaspoons garlic powder)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Grated Parmesan, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Rinse and dry the broccolini, then trim any tough ends.
  3. Toss broccolini with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  4. Arrange the broccolini in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Remove the broccolini to a warm plate, toss with softened butter if using, and adjust salt and lemon juice to taste.

Notes

Use fresh broccolini for the best texture. Skip the butter for a dairy-free option.
