Description

A warm and cheesy delight that combines the flavors of pizza and garlic bread, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (like oregano or basil)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well.
  3. Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape, about ½ inch thick.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and dried herbs. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the garlic butter and add red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Place the prepared dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and slice into squares or strips to enjoy.
