Description

A cozy and nutritious meal made with ground beef, fresh spinach, and tangy feta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 4 cups fresh spinach (or thawed frozen spinach)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and let it warm for about 1 minute.
  2. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, stirring until it wilts, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, mixing everything well.
  6. Remove from heat and scatter the crumbled feta cheese on top, allowing it to melt slightly.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
