- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1–2 Tbsp sriracha
- 2–3 Tbsp chicken broth
- 2 tsp honey
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
- ½–1 Tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
- Cooked rice
- Shredded carrots
- Sliced cucumbers
- Shelled edamame
- Pickled onions
- Avocado slices
- Shredded cabbage
- Sliced green onion
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey in a bowl. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, breaking it into smaller pieces, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add garlic, ginger, paprika, onion powder, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, honey, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the turkey mixture and mix well until thickened.
- For extra flavor, stir in a couple tablespoons of Bang Bang Sauce just before serving.
- Assemble the rice bowls with a base of rice, followed by the turkey mixture, topped with veggies and a drizzle of Bang Bang Sauce.
Notes
Serve with lime wedges for added freshness. Customize toppings as per season or preference.
