Description

Delightful little cookie cups filled with frosting and decorated with spooky Halloween candies, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • A variety of Halloween candies (like gummy worms, candy corn, and chocolate pieces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and blend until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  6. Grease a muffin tin. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough into each muffin cup and press it in to form cups.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for around 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the cookie cups to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove them and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Once cooled, fill each cookie cup with frosting and top with Halloween candies.

Notes

To keep your cookie cups soft and fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They can last for about 3-5 days.
