Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples.
- Scoop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fritter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and springy.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
