Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground chicken (preferably free-range)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 24 round dumpling wrappers
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for dipping sauce)
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili oil (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Place a dumpling wrapper in your palm, add a teaspoon of filling, moisten edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add potstickers and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.
- Pour in ¼ cup of water, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve potstickers on a platter, drizzled with dipping sauce, and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.
Notes
Chill the filling before assembly for better shape retention. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for even cooking.
