Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Stir in milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bars cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired, cut into squares, and enjoy!
