Description

Enjoy soft, fluffy bars packed with rich maple flavor, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for a sweet finish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Stir in milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bars cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm for the best flavor. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, refrigerated for a week, or frozen for up to a month.
