  • 8 ounces hot Italian sausage, removed from casing

  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably artisanal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or lined baking sheet.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hot Italian sausage until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Distribute the cooked sausage over the sauce, and sprinkle crumbled feta cheese generously.
