Description
A quick and easy Korean Ground Beef Bowl that’s bursting with flavor and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s browned, breaking it apart. If there’s excess fat, drain it carefully.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger into the skillet. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce. Stir everything together and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the cooked rice on plates or bowls. Pile the seasoned beef on top, finish with sliced green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
You can marinate the ground beef in soy sauce for added flavor. Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, and add red pepper flakes or Sriracha for some heat.
