Ingredients

- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
- 1 cup flour
- 2–3 eggs (beaten)
- Vegetable oil (as needed for frying)
Instructions
- Prepare and slice the meat into uniform, thin pieces.
- Make the marinade by combining soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and chopped green onions.
- Marinate the meat in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Set up a coating station with flour and beaten eggs.
- Dredge marinated meat in flour, dip in egg, and then pan-fry in heated vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes each side).
- Serve with steamed rice and dipping sauces.
Notes
For gluten-free options, substitute regular flour with rice flour or cornstarch.
