Description

Delightful mini apple pies with flaky crust and sweet, spiced apple filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced apples (about 23 medium apples, peeled and cored)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; stir well.
  3. Roll out pie crusts on a clean surface and cut into small circles (3-4 inches in diameter).
  4. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and crimp edges with a fork.
  6. Mix beaten egg with milk and brush over the tops of the pies.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
