Description
These Halloween Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with crushed Halloween Oreos and gooey chocolate chips. Quick to make and irresistibly festive, they’re the perfect spooky-season treat.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup crushed Halloween Oreo cookies
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, then beat in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed Halloween Oreo cookies with a spatula.
7. Drop dough onto the baking sheets, spacing each cookie 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look slightly underbaked.
9. Cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
To intensify the Oreo flavor, add a few more crushed cookies to the batter.
Add Halloween sprinkles on top before baking for an extra festive touch.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
