Description
Delightful individual cups combining juicy turkey and savory stuffing, perfect for gatherings or an intimate dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey (fresh or thawed)
- 2 cups prepared stuffing mix (preferably homemade)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease each cup of a muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, prepared stuffing, and chicken broth. Mix until just combined; the mixture should be moist but not runny.
- In another bowl, whisk the butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold this sauce gently into the turkey mixture to evenly distribute the flavors.
- Scoop the mixture into each muffin cup, filling just below the rim. Press down gently to form a solid base.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let cool slightly before removing the cups from the pan.
- Arrange the cups on a large serving platter, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use high-quality turkey and fresh herbs for richer flavor. Experiment with different stuffing types such as cornbread or wild rice. Add herbs like thyme or sage for a classic holiday aroma.
