Description

Indulge in these delightful No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars, a luxurious treat combining rich chocolate and wholesome oats in an elegant, easy-to-make dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond flour (or finely ground oats)
  • ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup creamy nut butter (such as almond or peanut)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao or higher)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ½ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats and almond flour. Stir well to achieve a uniform texture.
  2. Add honey or maple syrup and nut butter. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and sticky.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth and glossy.
  4. Pour the chocolate sauce over the oat mixture, folding gently until evenly coated.
  5. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture firmly into the dish, smoothing the top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped nuts over the top and press down slightly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set, then slice into bars and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For prolonged freshness, refrigerate. For a gourmet touch, drizzle with melted chocolate or carob before serving.
