- 1 ½ cups room temperature water
- 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and instant yeast. Gradually add the room temperature water, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours, or until the surface is dotted with bubbles and the dough has doubled in size.
- Lightly flour your work surface and pour the dough onto it. Use floured hands to gently shape it into a ball.
- Transfer the dough to a floured parchment paper, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, and let it rise uncovered for another 1 to 2 hours.
- About 30 minutes before baking, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, lift the dough using the parchment paper, and place it inside. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
