A quick and healthy air fryer recipe delivering tender salmon fillets with a crispy Parmesan-basil topping.
Ingredients

- 4 fillets of salmon (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried basil)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, basil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Pat each salmon fillet dry and drizzle olive oil over them, rubbing evenly.
- Press the Parmesan-basil mixture firmly onto the top of each fillet.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the salmon skin-side down, ensuring space for air circulation.
- Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove carefully and serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper. Pair with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
