Description

Delicious snack bites combining mozzarella and parmesan cheese, coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan until well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the two large eggs together with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
  4. Take small portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into golf ball-sized pieces.
  5. Dip each cheese ball into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in the panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  6. Place the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.

Notes

Serve hot with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Substitute panko with gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version.
