A delightful twist on classic pecan pie, these warm crescent rolls are filled with a gooey pecan mixture and baked to perfection.

- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg; mix well and reserve 2 tablespoons for later.
- Stir chopped pecans into the mixture until well-coated.
- Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and separate them into triangles on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll it up towards the narrow end.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes until they start to set.
- Remove from the oven, brush each roll with the reserved sugar mixture, and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally sprinkling additional chopped pecans on top.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delicious treat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
