Description

A delightful dish combining sautéed chicken in a creamy pepperoncini sauce, perfect for casual dinners and special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons room temperature butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stir with chicken, add sliced pepperoncini and juice. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Taste sauce, adjust seasoning if needed, then plate the chicken and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.

Notes

Serve over jasmine rice or polenta for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
