Description

A warm, cheesy crowd-pleaser that brings the flavors of pizza into a delicious dip perfect for snacks or parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni or chopped regular pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh green onion or basil for garnish
  • Sliced baguette, crackers, or raw veggie sticks for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or small baking dish.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with the sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella and all of the grated Parmesan until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the prepared dish in an even layer.
  5. Spoon the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer and spread gently.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the sauce, then scatter the pepperoni and olives on top.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until the cheese bubbles and the top shows light golden spots.
  8. Remove from the oven and let sit for 3–5 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion or basil, then serve warm.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Use low-moisture mozzarella for best melt. Refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
