- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake layer)
- 1 large egg (for cheesecake layer)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth, then add eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring; mix well.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt, folding gently until combined.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar until creamy, then add egg and vanilla extract for cheesecake layer; mix until smooth.
- Pour about three-quarters of the red velvet batter into the prepared pan, then pour the cheesecake layer over it.
- Drop spoonfuls of remaining red velvet batter on top and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set.
- Cool completely before slicing; refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for clean cuts.
