- 1 small shallot, very finely minced

- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- Pinch of garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Combine the base: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
- Fold in flavorings: Add dill pickles, minced shallot, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Adjust and finish: Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and black pepper. For a thinner consistency, add cold water or more vinegar as needed.
- Rest for harmony: Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to let flavors meld.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature mayonnaise and finely diced ingredients for smooth texture. The sauce can also be made vegan by substituting with vegan mayonnaise.
