Description
A vibrant and flavorful stir-fry bowl featuring tender ground beef, garlic-infused vegetables, and fluffy jasmine rice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (fluffy and warm)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, snap peas, and broccoli)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Fresh cilantro (finely chopped, for garnish)
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
Instructions
- Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions, fluff with a fork, and keep warm.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until it turns a rich brown, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and mixed vegetables, cooking until the veggies are vibrant and slightly tender, about 3–4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sriracha, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour this mixture over the beef and vegetables, stirring well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes for the flavors to meld.
- Spoon the flavorful beef and vegetable mixture into bowls over the steaming rice. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and lime wedges.
Notes
For a refined presentation, serve in shallow bowls and consider garnishing with sesame seeds. Adjust spice level using sriracha.
