These Spooky Ghost Brown Butter Pumpkin Cookies are soft, chewy, and topped with ghostly white chocolate decorations – the perfect Halloween treat!
Ingredients
1 batch Brown Butter and Maple Chewy Pumpkin Cookies (use your favorite recipe)
White chocolate melting wafers (such as Ghirardelli)
Black candy melts
Piping bag or ziplock bag
Medium cookie scoop
Light-colored baking pans
Instructions
1. Bake your batch of Brown Butter and Maple Chewy Pumpkin Cookies and let them cool completely.
2. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
3. Add a dollop of white chocolate to each cookie and spread it into a ghost shape using the back of a spoon.
4. Allow the white chocolate to fully harden before proceeding.
5. Melt black candy melts, then place them into a piping bag or ziplock bag with a small tip cut.
6. Pipe small dots for ghost eyes and a mouth onto each cookie.
7. Let the decorations harden completely before serving.
8. Serve and enjoy your spooky creations!
Notes
You can practice the ghost shapes on parchment paper before decorating the cookies.
Use a toothpick to draw the eyes and mouth if you don’t have a piping bag.
Cookies can be frozen undecorated for up to 2 months.
