- 9 cups rice or corn Chex cereal
- 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed
- 1/3 cup crushed graham crackers
- Pinch of fine sea salt
Instructions
- Pour Chex cereal into a large heatproof bowl and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and butter. Heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
- Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently folding until coated.
- In a large container, mix powdered sugar, strawberry powder, crushed graham crackers, and sea salt.
- Transfer coated cereal into sugar mixture, seal container, and shake until evenly coated.
- Spread the puppy chow on parchment to cool for 15-20 minutes. Scatter reserved strawberry flakes before serving.
