Description

A refined twist on a beloved snack, featuring crisp cereal coated in a strawberry-kissed glaze and finished with graham-cracker crumbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups rice or corn Chex cereal
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed
  • 1/3 cup crushed graham crackers
  • Pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pour Chex cereal into a large heatproof bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and butter. Heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently folding until coated.
  4. In a large container, mix powdered sugar, strawberry powder, crushed graham crackers, and sea salt.
  5. Transfer coated cereal into sugar mixture, seal container, and shake until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the puppy chow on parchment to cool for 15-20 minutes. Scatter reserved strawberry flakes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality white chocolate and pulse freeze-dried strawberries to two textures for visual interest.
