Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt one tablespoon of butter. Add onion and garlic, cooking until translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, sautéed onion and garlic, stale bread, fresh parsley, sage, thyme, Dijon mustard, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir until just combined, preserving some texture.
- With damp hands, form the mixture into balls approximately the size of golf balls, ensuring each is compact.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the turkey balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until golden, about 2 minutes. Gradually stir in broth, cooking until thickened, and season to taste.
