Ingredients

- 2 large eggs, divided
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter, plus more for topping
- 3–4 breakfast sausage links
- Maple syrup, to taste
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Whisk 1 egg with milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth. Dip the bread slices until coated.
- Melt butter in a skillet and cook the bread on both sides until golden brown.
- Whisk the remaining egg with a pinch of salt, then cook low and slow until soft and fluffy.
- Cook sausage links in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Add French toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage to a plate. Top with butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar.
