- Honey buttercream frosting (for topping)
- Honey (for drizzling)
- Flaky sea salt (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and milk until well combined.
- Whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Spread honey buttercream frosting on top, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Freeze for longer storage.
