Ingredients

- 1 can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
- Combine the chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For added flavor, drizzle olive oil on top before serving and sprinkle with paprika. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
