- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Cook until the shrimp is pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water. Cover and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added freshness, squeeze some lemon juice right before serving. Experiment with other vegetables for variety.
