Description

A delightful dish combining tender grilled chicken with rich, creamy pasta, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from heat and let it rest.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same pot and sauté for about a minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts and becomes smooth. Add the cooked penne to the sauce and toss to combine.
  5. Slice the grilled chicken and serve it on top of the creamy penne, garnishing with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken beforehand and serve with a fresh green salad.
