Description
A comforting meal combining tender steak, crispy garlic potatoes, and fresh green beans, perfect for family nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1⁄2 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak)
- 1 1⁄2 lb baby potatoes (halved or quartered)
- 12 oz fresh green beans (trimmed)
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided, softened)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat the steak dry, then season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Toss the baby potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Roast them on the baking sheet for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and garlic, sautéing for 6-8 minutes until vibrant and tender.
- In the same skillet, increase the heat to medium-high and sear the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve it with the roasted potatoes and sautéed green beans.
Notes
Serve with a side salad or crusty bread. For extra flavor, consider marinating the steak before cooking.
