Ingredients

- 1 cup red lentils
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Rinse the red lentils and place them in a pot with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the lentils are soft. Drain any excess water and let them cool slightly.
- Combine the cooked lentils, gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil in a mixing bowl. Mix until a dough forms, adding water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with homemade soup or a favorite dipping sauce. Brush with butter for extra flavor.
